I know this post will show up minutes after the last one, but really there was a lull in between the two...
Am I an ultimate jerk for emailing my withdrawl for that job? Cause that's what I did. I emailed. No phone call. Didn't use a great excuse either, just an "accepted another offer" line. I feel lame.
But happy about my decision. We do need some more income, but my son needs me more. Just like Erick (and Tim Gunn!) says, we'll make it work. Its far more important that I'm here, to take care of Jackson's needs....and try to fix the explosion that is our messy apartment!!
Yea, good luck with that.
I agree that it is TOTALLY more important for you to be there for Jackson. Mark and I made the same *very tough* decision when we decided for me to stay home. We're poor as all get out - but Faye's doing so well! On top of her doing well - she knows she's home and with her Mama who will love her and help her with any and everything she needs! I know you know what I mean! There are more important things than money :-)
